Duales bodyguard shot by gunmen in Nairobi

National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale’s bodyguard was on Monday evening shot and injured by gunmen in Nairobi’s Eastleigh estate.

The gunmen also stole his gun during the incident that happened near the Moi Eastleigh Airbase.

Duale was, however, not at the scene of the incident.

Police are now in hot pursuit of the gunmen who escaped to Kiwanja slums near Moi Eastleigh Airbase.

Speaking to Citizen Digital after the incident, Duale said his bodyguard is in stable condition at a city hospital.
