Eastleigh holds second business summit

Preparations are in top gear as Eastleigh prepares to hold the second annual business summit on Saturday, December 17, 2016.

The event to be held at Eastleigh High School will run on the theme Become a trusted business. Deliver positive impact and will seek to ensure business owners educate stakeholders on their products and services.

The summit will also focus on communicating the need and impact of transparency in business operations while also exploring the realities of doing business in Eastleigh and creating a debate on effective strategies for sustaining Eastleigh’s positive momentum as a business hub.

“The summit will also focus on strategies integral to building sustainable business in Eastleigh.
“We also seek to bring together public and private investors from Nairobi and across the country to discuss ways of improving the investment climate and raise the profile of doing business in Eastleigh,” said Ahmed Mohamed, Ark Media CEO and social media personality.

The chief guest of this year’s event will be National Assembly Majority leader and Garissa Township MP Aden Duale.

Gulf African Bank General Manager Mr Fazal Saib, Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan and Nairobi County Commissioner Njoroge Ndirangu were some of the guest speakers at the inaugural event held in 2015.

According to Mr Mohamed, there will also be Eastleigh Awards Ceremony during a gala dinner that will also include lots of entertainment from Somali cultural groups.
