Editors Sound Alarm Over Amendment Bill

The Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution (CIC) has criticized members of parliament over a bill that seeks to limit the access to information on parliamentary proceedings. According to CIC, the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Amendment Bill of 2014 is in contravention of the constitution as it limits rights that should not be limited. This as the Kenya Editors Guild said the bill fronted by Eldas Mp Adan Keynan would return the country to the draconian days of curtailing media freedom. Esther Kahumbi with the details.
