Embu Gov. Martin Wambora Dismisses Corruption Allegations

Instead, Wambora says that all money the was accounted for and his administration had not paid any allowances to the alleged ghost workers.

Wambora termed the corruption allegations by Mbeere North MP Muriuki Njagagua and speaker Kariuki Mate as malicious and only out to distract his development agenda.

The governor who has been impeached twice is now calling on the president to intervene and help end the prolonged wrangles.

Wambora also wants intervention from Embu leaders plus the national and county level leaders in order to bring this matter to an end.

Wambora says that this issue remains unresolved despite mediation attempts by religious leaders and a number of court cases.
