Embu road accident leaves 3 dead

Three people have been confirmed dead following a grisly road accident at Kivaa area, on the busy Kanyonyoo -Embu road.

Early reports indicate that the probox car was heading to Kivaa from Kanyonyoo area when the driver lost control  of the car which hit a culvert and rolled several times.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Kangonde chief Sebastian Mangee said that a fourth victim was rushed to the Matuu Level four hospital in critical condition.

By the time of publishing this report, police who had arrived at the scene were still trying to remove the deceased from the wreckage

This comes barely a week after five people were killed in a somewhat similar accident along the Mutunduri- Kiajokoma road in Embu.

In that accident too, residents had a hard time trying rescue victims who were trapped in the wreckage.
