Embu Senator Kivuti lashes out at Governor Wambora

Embu County Senator Lenny Kivuti has lashed out at Embu County Governor Martin Wambora for what he termed as low absorption of Development leading to the county ranked the second last among the 47 counties.

Kivuti said that it was a shame that Wambora’s administration was not able to bring development, adding that Embu County residents were suffering because of this.

The senator asked the national government not to release funds to the Embu County Government until a new regime takes office.

Kivuti said that 40 per cent of the budget meant for development was not being utilized, claiming that it was instead going to individuals.

The Senator was speaking at Kanyuambora as he drummed up support for his 2017 gubernatorial bid.
