Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno arrested for holding anti-BBI meeting

Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament (MP) Johana Ngeno was arrested on Monday evening by police officers in Narok County for holding an outlawed anti-BBI meeting in Narok South Constituency.

The lawmaker was in Kimogor market to address locals over the BBI meeting that was organized in Narok on Saturday.

Ngeno, in the company of two other Members of County Assembly resisted the arrest accusing the police of applying double standards.

They questioned why Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina was walking free despite his incitement messages during the BBI rally.

Ngeno, together with the two MCAs; Jefferson Langat and Stanley Langat, were taken to Ololulunga Police Station to record statements.
