Ex-govt employee accused of stealing Ksh.12M fined Ksh.600K
A former cashier with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology was on Tuesday arraigned and charged with unlawful acquisition of Ksh.12, 980,000 from the ministry in 2011.
Perminus K. Njoroge was fined Ksh.600,000 or an alternative of 1 year imprisonment.
The Directorate of Public Prosecutions has stated that they will, however, appeal the ruling.
