Explosive Device Recovered In Mlango Kubwa

Police spokesperson Masoud Mwinyi confirmed the incident on Monday morning.

Residents said the bag that was placed in a kiosk at the Mlango Kubwa area looked suspicious a bag  and reported the incident to the police.

The residents now the government to put up tighter security measures in the area.

This comes amidst the heated debate on Security Amendment Bill 2014 that seeks to slap suspected terrorists with lengthy jail terms and also cracking the whip on those radicalizing the youth.
