Family demands probe into mysterious disappearance of One-Day Old Baby

Millicent Achieng, the mother, claims to have given birth to a baby boy at around midnight on March 31 but in the morning hours during ward rounds by the nurses, one of the nurses requested to take the child away for check up but never returned.

The mother claims she was later informed that she had given birth to a baby girl who had since died due to difficulties in breathing.

The hospital management, through their medical superintendent Dr James Kariuki, have denied Achieng’s claims maintaining that she delivered a baby girl.

The hospital further adds that the hospital is ready to release the Infants body for DNA tests to prove their claim.
