Family Flees Home After Snakes Invade Their House

The family is now forced to spend their nights in commercial lodgings at Kisian market centre to avoid being bitten by the snakes.

According to Agala, the father of four, the snakes started appearing on Sunday after one of his neighbours threatened him.

Agala intimated that he had been drinking with the said suspect in a nearby bar when they clashed prompting the man to threaten him with untold horror.

The man is reported to have proceeded to Agala’s home where he told his mother that her son had exhibited lack of respect for him and that he would teach him a lesson.

Agala now says that snakes have been appearing in his home since then.

The incidents have shocked Kadongo villagers with some of them claiming they could be the work of witchcraft.

Agala however invited church leaders who spent the better part of the day praying while young men combed the house and kept vigil at any creature which could appear.

Agala indicated that he had not reported the matter to the police but had approached the suspect to forgive him but to no avail.
