Family in Nyasare accuses neighbor of defiling 4yr-old girl

A family in Nyasare is seeking justice after their 50-year-old neighbor allegedly defiled their daughter two weeks ago.

The girl’s grandmother Grace John (whose real name has been concealed for her protection) said they have done medical tests and got a P3 form from the police.

“We want the police to arrest the suspect so that he can be charged in court,” she said.

According to her, they availed details of the incident to the police but no substantial progress has been made on the investigations.

Grace said the 4 year old girl who was defiled sustained serious injuries and is unable to walk.

She alleged that the suspect has been trying to convince the family to deal with the matter out of court but they are adamant that justice must be served.
