Father disappears after defiling daughter

Police officers in Maua town, Igembe south sub-county have launched a manhunt for a man who allegedly defiled his daughter.

The criminal act was allegedly committed at Maua town in their rental house while the victim’s mother was away.

According to an eyewitness, the victim, aged between 5 to 7 years, was left at home by her mother giving the suspect room to sexually assault the girl.

The minor broke the news to the women selling goods at Maua fruit market after they noticed that she was limping.

It was then they decided to checkout, only to discover that the girl’s genitals had bruises.

The girl revealed that it was the fifth time to be abused by her father.

The young girl had been been given Ksh 150 by the father before he disappeared.

The women took her to Maua police station to record a statement.
