Father kills son in Kakamega

Police in Navakholo, Kakamega county are holding a man for allegedly killing his 46 year old son at Shimuli area.

Two other sons of the suspect have also been arrested for reportedly conspiring to kill their step brother.

Residents say the three attacked and hit the deceased using a blunt object killing him on the spot.

They are said to have planned the attack following claims that the deceased Maurice Chivole, had allegedly accused his father and step mother of witch craft.

According to area chief Samson Juma Baringo, the suspects later hid the body of Chivole in his house.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
