A secondary school teacher in Seme sub county has been arrested by police on allegations of practising lesbianism with students.

According to Kisumu County Police Commander John Kamau, the teacher is being held following complaints from students.

The Kisumu police boss further indicated that the arrest followed complaints filed by four female students over the aforementioned habit from the accused.

The students who have since recorded statements with the police said that the female teacher has been luring them in her house in Kombewa and committing the act with them.

On Friday, students in the mixed day and boarding secondary school went on rampage demanding action to be taken by the relevant authorities.

Kamau however said that investigations are underway and the teacher will be arraigned in court soon.
