Fiery Miguna back in Canada

Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna is reportedly back in Toronto, Canada five days after he was deported from Kenya for the second time.

Miguna is said to have boarded Air Canada AC57 that left Dubai at 11:49pm on Sunday night and was scheduled to touch down in Toronto, Canada, at 5:14 am early Monday morning.

Miguna’s lawyer Cliff Ombeta confirmed the news telling Citizen Digital when asked about the travel saying; “True. Gone.”

Tracking the flight online showed that the plane landed at Toronto Pearson, Monday, April 2 at 5:14AM Toronto time.

Although the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant as yet to fully confirm his whereabouts, Mr. Ombeta had earlier told Citizen Digital that Miguna had been unreachable since Sunday night at 11pm.

Miguna was deported to Dubai on the night of Wednesday, March 28 after more than 48 hours of detention at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.

He remained stranded at the Dubai International Airport as he insisted he would only board a Nairobi-bound flight.

Last evening at around 7pm, the self-declared NRM general sent out a statement saying a senior government official in Dubai, Sheikh Khalid, had taken him “to go get proper medical tests and treatment.”
