Fire breaks out at Kitui County Government offices

Fire razed down a section of Kitui County Government offices destroying property worth millions of shillings last light

The inferno gutted down the county government’s ministerial and human resource office block reduce to documents and various equipment to ashes.

County Acting Secretary Alex Kimanzi said it was hard to contain the fire due to lack of proper fire fighting equipment.

According to the police, there were no casualties reported in the incident.

Investigations have since been launched to establish the cause of the blaze.
