Fire guts dorm at Katangi Boys School in Machakos

A dormitory at St Francis Katangi Boys High School in Machakos County has been burnt down and belongings of more than 200 students destroyed in the incident.

The area Chief Daniel Ngandi told Citizen Digital that the cause of the fire has not been established but investigations are underway.

ODM Katangi Ward candidate Shadrack Kivuva Musyoki said the fire was a big blow to the school and called for a probe to establish the cause of the fire.

The incident occurred just a day after another dormitory was burnt down in the same county at the Mwala Girls High School.
