Fist fight breaks out at Jubilee Party aspirants’ meeting

A meeting convened by Jubilee Party aspirants in Nairobi ended pre-maturely at the Ufungamano House after a fist fight between the aspirants.

The meeting that was to agree on a joint campaign approach for the Jubilee Party aspirants in the City and also receive defectors to the new party was cut short after the aspirants differed on who was to lead the meeting.

Nairobi Senate aspirants Mutunga Kavemba who convened the meeting was roughed up by some of the aspirants who turned up forcing Jubilee Coalition National Steering Committee Co-Chair Noah Wekesa who was present to be whisked away.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has already announced that he will seek for re-election using the Jubilee Party which is expected to be launched in September after the merger of TNA, URP, New Ford Kenya and other small political parties.
