Five arrested for selling weed cookies to students in Voi

Police officers in Voi, Taita Taveta County, are holding five men who were allegedly caught in possession of biscuits laced with bhang, popularly known as ‘weed cookies.’

According to Taita Taveta Police Commander Saidi Kiprotich, the five are suspected to have been selling the biscuits to secondary school students in Voi town.

The police boss further stated he suspects will be arraigned in court, adding that a hunt is on for other bhang peddlers.
