Five boys arrested after sneaking into girls school in Bungoma

Five male students were Sunday night arrested after sneaking into a girls secondary school in Bungoma County.

The boys; four from St.Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School and one from Good Shepherd ACK, were found in the latrine at Cardinal Otunga Girls Secondary school.

Confirming the incident, Bungoma OCPD Francis Sang said the students had crossed into the neighbouring school as the girls protested over their new school principal at around 11pm.

Mr. Sang said the boys were nabbed by police officers who had been deployed to restore calm at Cardinal Otunga Girls school.

According to the OCPD, the five students were found in the latrines as police conducted a patrol in the school.

They were taken to Bungoma Police Station as investigations continue to establish the motive behind their move to sneak into the school.
