Five Changes for the Final IRB Leg

Five Changes for the Final IRB Leg

It is a big boost to the team to have experienced Biko Adema and Dennis Ombachi back in the squad as they make the team for the first time this season. Youngsters Augustine Lugonzo and Tony Onyango Opondo make a come back after injury lay offs. Another big boost comes in the form of powerful forward Oscar Ayodi  who missed the last outing due to school commitments.

The five replace injured Lavin Asego, Leonard Mugaisi, Patrice Agunda, Tony Owuor and Felix Ayange. Coach Ochieng’ said,  “There are some changes within this unit going into the final leg. Some of the changes have been warranted by injury. Dennis Ombachi is back after training consistently and it is a good opportunity for him and a challenge as well as he makes it back into the squad.”

K.R.U Chairman Richard Omwela in his remarks said, “ We’re obviously in a very difficult pool but there is no hiding place at this level of play. We want to complete the series on a high.”
