5 Kenya Airways flights diverted from JKIA due to foggy weather
Kenya Airways flights has been forced to divert five flights after bad weather prevented landing of the aircrafts at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
The flights are those coming from Dubai, Amsterdam, Antananarivo, Mauritius and Accra.

“Good morning, we are experiencing flight disruptions at JKIA due to poor visibility caused by fog. Several flights are being diverted to alternative airports as we monitor the situation,” Kenya Airways said on Twitter.
Those affected have been urged to call the Kenya Airways contact centre on +254 711024747.

The Meteorological Department had earlier indicated that the cold weather would continue until August.
“Early morning cool and cloudy conditions will continue to prevail over the Central Highlands including Nairobi,” the weatherman said.
The forecast is indicated for the period between July 31 to August 6.
