Five killed in Kajiado accident

Five people were killed last night following a road accident involving a saloon car and a trailer at Isinya, Kajiado along the Namanga – Nairobi highway.

All the occupants of the saloon car, three men and two ladies, perished on the spot during the 1AM accident.

The trailer – with Tanzanian registration numbers – was heading to Namanga while the saloon car was heading to the opposite direction.

The occupants of the saloon car are believed to be land brokers according to documents found in the car which included title deeds.

An eye witness told Citizen TV that the saloon car was speeding when it rammed into the oncoming trailer.

The driver is also suspected to have been drunk at the time of the accident as alcohol bottles were found in the debris of the car.
