Five year old burnt to death in dawn fire

A five year old child has been burnt to death after a fire gutted their house in Ogango village in Nyando, Kisumu County.

According to Kisumu County Police Commander, Titus Yoma, the incident occurred at around 2:00 am Saturday, April 22 morning.

The parents of the victims were allegedly attending a party in their neighborhood at the time of the incident.

Yoma says the victim was burnt beyond recognition while two of his siblings escaped during the incident.

Elsewhere in Kisumu, a 25-year-old man was found dead after his house went up in flames Ondiek estate

County police boss says they have launched investigation into the matter

The body was removed to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga mortuary awaiting a post mortem test.
