Flooding in Northern Pakistan Kills 30

Pakistani officials say severe flooding from monsoon rains overnight has killed at least 30 people in a northern district near the Afghan border.

Officials said on Sunday, a mosque and several homes in Chitral were washed away in the flooding.

Search, rescue and relief operations are under way, but bad weather and washed out roads are hampering efforts.
