Fold up and join Wiper, Kivutha Kibwana tells small parties

Makueni Governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana has launched a Wiper Party registration drive in Makueni County in a move aimed at wooing voters to register as party members.

Speaking at Ithaeni market in Kathiani Constituency, Kivutha said he was called upon by Kalonzo Musyoka to join the Wiper party and better his chances of being the NASA coalition flag bearer.

Kivutha called on NARC, PTP, CCU and Governor Alfred Mutua’s Maendeleo Chap Chap to fold up and join the Wiper party to make it stronger.

He expressed optimism that NASA would emerge victorious in the August 8 General Election, citing Ghana and Gambia as examples of countries where the opposition triumphed in elections in the recent past.

He promised supporters that the nomination exercise would be free and fair and peaceful.

On his part, Kathiani MP Robert Mbui rubbished rumours that Kalonzo Musyoka was not at home in The NASA coalition, saying that Kalonzo was in NASA to stay.
