Ford Kenya disowns Governor
The Ford Kenya party led by the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) co-principal, Moses Wetangula, has disowned Trans Nzoia Governor, Patrick Khaemba, on grounds of not adhering to the party policies and ideologies.
The announcement was made by the two interim Secretary Generals, Edward Munabi and James Wanabisi, who accused Khaemba of his inactive involvement in matters of the party which gave him a ticket to vie for the post in the 2013 General Election.
Munabi said that Khaemba has not been participating in party matters and made very little contribution to the party.
Wanabisi accused the governor of not helping the party followers and has set himself aside in matters affecting the followers of the party in Trans Nzoia County.
