Form Commission To Investigate Terrorism, Lawmaker Tells President

Nyokabi argues that the Westgate Shopping mall attack, Mpeketoni attack, the two attacks in Mandera County and the recent campus attack in Garissa that claimed 147 lives should not be left to sink to oblivion without a proper answer.

Nyokabi, a former activist, says that reports from such inquiries will help the country draw a single point of reference from the attacks that will help bring major reforms in the security sector.

The legislator observed that more confusion is being experienced in the country every time terrorists strike.

Ms Nyokabi also called on her fellow politicians to avoid using police choppers and planes to attend political meetings saying they should be on standby to promptly respond to security alerts.
