Form Four students injured in Homa Bay accident

Four students from Chiga Mixed Secondary School in Homa Bay County are nursing injuries after they were involved in a road accident on Saturday evening.

The four Form Four students, who were riding on a motorcycle, were heading home from a sports competition at pap Ndege Primary School when they rammed into a matatu near Homa Bay town at around 6pm.

One of the four students was the one riding the motorcycle when it hit the oncoming matatu from the sideways causing it to roll.

The students were rushed to Homa Bay County Teaching and Referral Hospital where they were treated and discharged.

According to an eyewitness, the students were riding at high speed behind another vehicle when they hit the matatu.
