Form Two student accused of stabbing man in Bomet after he demanded for sex
A Form Two student reportedly stabbed a 29-year-old man to death in Bomet after he demanded for sex.
According to Konoin police boss Alex Shikondi, the student had gone to market center where the man worked as a shoe shiner.
“The girl was provoked by the demand for a love affair by the deceased,” reads the police report.
An argument is said to have ensued and the irate girl left in a huff.
However, she apparently returned a few minutes later armed with a knife.
It is alleged that she bought the knife at a nearby shop.
She then reportedly used it to stab the unsuspecting man in the upper part of his neck. He died instantly.
The man’s body has since been moved to Kapkatet mortuary while the Form Two student is in custody at Mogogosiek Police Station.
