Former ICC suspects at Afraha Stadium for thanksgiving
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are currently at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru where a thanksgiving prayer rally is being held after termination of the Kenyan cases at the International Criminal Court (ICC) at the Hague.
Kenyatta and Ruto arrived together at the stadium a few minutes before noon, on top of an open pick up, in the company of four other former suspects at the ICC.
The six, famously known as the Ocampo Six, including former Cabinet Minister Henry Kosgey, former Police boss Hussein Ali, former Head of Civil Service Francis Muthaura and journalist Joshua Arap Sang.
The thanksgiving prayer rally programme will strictly feature clerical speakers and 8 regions and is unlikely to accommodate politicians with the exception of the President and his Deputy.
