Former KNUT Chairman Chirchir Dies

The former KNUT chaiman died at the Nairobi Hospital.

Deputy President William Ruto sent a message of condolence to the family, friends and teaching fraternity following Chirchir’s death.

The deputy president who visited the family at the Nairobi hospital said the late Chirchir served the country and the teaching fraternity with distinction and dedication.

He said the country has lost a dedicated trade unionist that stood firm for the rights and welfare of teachers.

Chirchir served as KNUT chairman between 2003 and 2007.
