Former Narok executive joins efforts to eject Governor Tunai

Former Narok County Public Service Management executive George Meshuko has joined the camp calling for the removal of Governor Samuel Tunai.

Mr Meshuko, who recently resigned from the executive county position, hosted Narok senator and two other MPs at his Home in Suswa, Narok East where he confirmed joining the “Muthaiga Five Camp” to fight for the removal of Governor Tunai

"The only office functioning well under Tunai’s leadership is the finance department but it has since been interfered with as the county executives are kept in the dark on the cash flow," said Mr Meshuko.

MAASAI MARA REVENUE COLLECTION

Narok Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu lauded the government for conducting investigations into the Maasai Mara revenue collection.

He announced that demonstrations that had been slated for Monday February 23, 015 had been called off since the auditor general and the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission were still conducting investigations into alleged corruption in the county and have not released their reports.

Ole Ntutu said that they will hold demonstrations from April 6, 2015 until every penny in the county budget is accounted for.

Narok West MP Patrick Ole Ntutu and Narok South MP Lemein Korei welcomed Mr Musheko to their camp saying they will push for accountability in Narok County.
