Four dead after lorry rams into a house in Nyeri

Four people died after a truck ferrying ballast veered off the road and rammed into a home in Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County, on Wednesday evening.

Confirming the incident, area OCPD Mussa Muhamud said the lorry driver lost control as the vehicle descended uphill and rammed into the a house killing a pedestrian and two children who were watching television in their house on the spot.

The driver of the lorry succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
