Four dead in Limuru pub scuffle

Four people have died after a scuffle ensued between a night club security officer in Limuru Town, Kiambu County and three suspected goons over the theft of a reveler’s mobile phone.

Limuru OCPD, Eunice Githure, says the thugs stabbed the security officer thrice as he accosted them in a bid to get the phone back, and succumbed to his knife wounds while being rushed to Limuru Nursing Home for treatment.

Boda boda operators who witnessed the incident are then said to have confronted the thugs, beating them to death.

Cases of insecurity have been on the rise in the town with the lynched suspects said to have been involved in several robbery cases.
