Four dead in separate incidents countrywide

Four people are reported to have died in separate incidents across the country.

In the first incident an 11-year-old boy drowned at Murango river in Mwea, Kirinyaga County during a swimming expedition.

Search operation to retrieve the body is still underway.

Elsewhere a 17-year-old boy committed suicide at Kimuta Village in Bomet County with locals alleging that he was an alcoholic and might have committed suicide under the influence of alcohol.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man is also committed suicide using a rope at Gesinga village in Kisii County while  in Nyamira North,a 74-year-old man was found dead inside his house.

While confirming the incident, Nyamira County Commissioner Amos Mariba siad the man had no visible injuries on his body.

The body has since been moved to Bwomboga mortuary in Nyamira as police launch investigations.
