Four dead, scores injured in Kiambu accident

Four people have died and scores others injured following a grisly road accident near Ridgeways Mall on Kiambu road, Kiambu County on Sunday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred after a passenger matatu rammed into a saloon car, killing the four, including the matatu driver, on the spot.

The driver of the saloon car was allegedly drunk at the time of the accident.

Kenya Red Cross ambulances evacuated the injured to Kenyatta National Hospital where they are receiving treatment and the cars were towed to Pangani Police Station.
