Four Members of Uhurus security team perish in road accident

Four members of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s security team died in a road accident along the Isiolo-Marsabit Highway on Tuesday.

The officers from the GSU’s elite Recce squad died on the spot after their vehicle lost control and rolled several times.

According to Gideon Amala, Rift Valley Regional Coordinator, the rear right tyre of the car they were travelling in burst, causing the car to lose control.

They were headed to Lonyangalani to carry out security surveillance ahead of Uhuru’s visit to commission the wind power project scheduled for Thursday 2^nd July 2015
