Freedom Corner Women

They spent days and nights at Uhuru Park. Their protest was to push the government to release their sons who were political prisoners. But for the women who we're camping at Uhuru Park, they had to undress themselves to force the government to hear their cry. Esther Kahumbi tells the story of two women who participated in the March 1992 protest at Uhuru Park as they explain the reason for their unprecedented move.
