Fuel Prices Go Up

The revised prices released by the Energy Regulatory Commission today, Tuesday, shows that starting midnight, fuel prices will go marginally with prices varying from one town to the other.

According to the new structure, Super Petrol will increase by Ksh 1.31, Diesel up  by Ksh 0.21 per litre and Kerosene by Ksh 2.00 per litre.

The meaning of this increment is that the maximum price of super petrol in Nairobi will now go at Ksh. 110.59, automotive diesel at Ksh. 104.73 and Kerosene at Ksh. 88.07.

In Mombasa, the maximum Price of Super will be Ksh. 107.23, Automotive Diesel at Ksh. 101.39 and Kerosene at Ksh. 82.28.

In Nakuru, the maximum fuel prices will be Super petrol at Ksh. 111.23, automotive diesel at Ksh. 105.58 and kerosene at Ksh. 85.83.

In Eldoret, the maximum prices will be Super petrol at Ksh. 112.37, automotive diesel at Ksh. 106.72 and kerosene at Ksh. 86.86.

In Kisumu, the maximum Price of Super will be Ksh. 112.44, automotive Diesel at Ksh. 106.79 and kerosene at Ksh. 86.85.

The new fuel adjustments are in accordance with the Legal Notice No. 196, the Energy (Petroleum Pricing) Regulations, 2010.
