Gangsters kill diplomatic police officer in Komarock area

A manhunt is on to arrest gangsters who shot and killed a police officer from the diplomatic police unit in Komarock area in Nairobi on Tuesday morning.

The officer succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the Modern Healthcare Hospital where he was rushed after being shot in the hand and head by the gangsters who also stole his Ceska pistol.

While the confirming the incident, Kayole OCPD Joseph Gichangi said the officer was walking when he was accosted by the armed gangsters who were riding on a motorcycle.
