Gangsters raid Naivas Supermarket, escape with Ksh3 million

Shoppers at Naivas Supermarket in Mountain Mall located in Kasarani area, Nairobi were on Saturday shocked after four armed robbers raided the supermarket and made away with Ksh3 million.

Four men, two of them armed with guns, reportedly stormed the supermarket at about 8PM, forcing the shoppers to scamper to safety as they made their way to the counters.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Citizen Digital, police arrived at the scene shortly after and engaged the robbers in a gunfight before they escaped.

The site of the crime has since been cordoned off as police conduct investigations into the incident.

Security has been beefed up in Kasarani area following the incident.
