Girl sits for KCPE exams after giving birth in Ahero

A Class 8 pupil who gave birth on Monday night sat for the KCPE exams in Ahero.

She did the exam at Ahero sub-county hospital in Nyando Sub County.

Also at the same facility was a 14-year-old at the from Kasuna primary school in Nyando whose fingers were burnt allegedly by the stepmother and father.

Both the two students have invigilators supervising the KCPE exams.

They are expected to complete their papers within three days exercise, same as other pupils.

Dr. Bernard Owino who is in charge of Ahero sub county hospital said they have set aside private wings for the two pupils.

Two other pupils from Nyakach  and Muhoroni are also sitting for their exams at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH).

They are undergoing treatment for various illnesses.

Several inmates at Kodiaga and Kibos prisons are also sitting for the KCPE exams.
