Girl,3, murdered in Kakamega, dumped outside her home

A somber mood has engulfed Sambaka village in Kakamega County after a three-year-old girl was found brutally murdered.

According to a children`s officer Jackson Murunga, the deceased was stabbed severally before her body was set ablaze and dumped at their compound.

The child was reported missing on December 23, 2018 only for her body to be dumped outside their house four days later.

Five suspects have been arrested and are being detained at Matete police station awaiting to be arraigned in court.
