Google Honours The Late Muruge

The doodle marked the 11th Anniversary after  Muruge  joined school in 2004, at the age of 84.

The doodle, according to google, is used to celebrate the lives of famous scientists, artists, and pioneers throughout history.

The doodle was a reminder that it is never too late to learn something new.

According to the Guinness world record, Kimani is the oldest man ever to join school at an older age.

Muruge enrolled at Kapkenduiywo primary school in Eldoret town with his two grandsons.

Muruge wanted to know how to write and how to a read a bible.

Muruge died in 2009 as a result of stomach cancer.
