Goon attack women at Kisumu inter-religious event
An interreligious meeting of women in Kisumu was violently disrupted by goons alleging a scheme to buy off identity cards to disadvantage Raila Odinga in next month’s election.
It took the intervention of the police to protect the women who were ironically attending a forum on conflict resolution.
And as Sylvia Chebet reports, the interfaith religious council of Kenya has condemned the despicable act.
