Governor Isaac Ruto accuses Jubilee Gov’t of graft

Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has blasted the Jubilee Administration for allegedly overseeing runway corruption in government.

Speaking during the opening of a Chama cha Mashinani Party office in Emurua Dikirr trading centre in Transmara on Friday, the Bomet Governor hit at the ruling administration saying that massive corruption is strewn all over jubilee’s first term.

Ruto, who was flanked by Emurua Dikirr Legislator Johana Ngeno, criticised the government for their management of the health function, which is partly devolved, adding that the government is withholding the lion’s share of health funds.

The leaders insisted that Jubilee must explain to Kenyans what they have done before asking for re-election, adding that the country has already witnessed massive looting.

“We want a government that is going to respect the constitution and that is going to devolve resources the way the constitution says,” said Mr Ruto.

Ruto, who was stepping up campaigns to popularize his Chama cha Mashinani Party in the south rift, was keen to position the party as the alternative to the Jubilee party in the region.

He remained adamant they would not be boxed into the Jubilee party, adding that it is the people’s democratic right to belong to a party of their choice.
