Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has hinted at the possibility of working with ODM Party leader Raila Odinga in the next General Election.

ODM Party officials from the Lower Eastern Region held lengthy talks with the Makueni Governor on Tuesday as political realignments begin to take shape.

“ODM leader Raila Odinga and I as well as others are thinking in the same manner on how take this country forward and have real transformation so that Kenyans can have a better country. So working together is not a difficult thing,” said Kibwana.

Kibwana in the meeting described the ODM leader as a pro-development champion saying he does not rule out crafting a team with Odinga.

The Makueni Governor now wants the Orange party to also engage his Machakos counterpart Alfred Mutua and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu on the same.
