Governor Obado wishes Migori Woman Rep. quick recovery, mourns bodyguard
Migori County leaders on Sunday sent messages of encouragement to county Woman Representative Dr. Pamela Odhiambo who was involved in a road accident.
Led by Migori Governor Okoth Obado, the leaders also condoled with the family of Dr. Odhiambo’s bodyguard Fred Owich who perished in the same accident that occurred at Winyo area on the Homa Bay-Rongo highway.
Governor Obado wished Dr. Odhiambo, her driver and two county staffers who sustained injuries a quick recovery.
The governor also lauded the health team that responded in time and rescued the woman representative and her aides.
Obado’s message was also echoed by Migori County Assembly Speaker Boaz Okoth, former Suna West MP Joseph Ndiege, former Central Sakwa ward representative Johnson Owiro and Migori County union of workers executive secretary Baraza Nguka.
The woman representative has since been airlifted to Nairobi for specialised treatment while her aides are receiving treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.
